Are you police checked?

Yes, all staff/ regular volunteers hold valid enhanced disclosure forms and are all registered with the ISA (Independent safeguarding Authority.)

Are you insured?

Yes, the group is covered for Public Liability up to the value of £5million.The cover is provided by Morton Michel Insurance. Alhambra House, 9 St Michael's Road, Croydon CR9 3DD

Do you have first aid?

Yes, I hold a level 2 children and babies first aid certificate (Paediatric First Aid) as recommended by Ofsted as well as level 2 Award in Food Safety (Food Hygiene)

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, at toddlers there are both male and female toilets plus a disabled toilet incorporating a baby changing station. Baby group has a unisex facility incorporating baby change. (Please note however that there are no nappy disposal bins at either venue so we ask you to take any soiled nappies home.)

Is there a waiting list and do I need to register?

We don't operate waiting lists. All our sessions are drop in so you don't need to book. You will need to register with the group which involves completing a short form during the session with your contact details - needed in case of an emergency.

Do you have facilities for heating baby food and bottles?

Yes, both venues have a well equipped kitchen with various appliances including a fridge - just ask if you need help. (Please note for health and safety reasons no children are allowed into the kitchen

Are the toys safe for small children?

Yes, all the toys are purchased through reputable companies and are suitable for children aged 0 - 5 years. They are regularly monitored for damage and are cleaned often.

Is there parking?

You can park in the car park next to the doctors surgery, across the road opposite the shops (please note only 4 bays are for 4 hours and over, the rest are now only 30 minutes ) and on the estate roads however please park considerately and do not block drives and leave enough room for buses to get through!!!
